Community, Decisions & Stillness
Bloom Letter | July 26th - August 1st
Hello friends,
How are you doing!? This week held a lot of energy…
At the beginning of the week, I pulled some Tarot cards for us that mirrored a theme in my yoga class. We experienced a Full Moon that shifted us intensely. And underneath it all, I found a sense of quiet I didn’t expect to fall in love with.
There’s a thread running through everything this letter holds: community showing up when you need it the most, a decision quietly gathering on the horizon, and a stillness that’s been teaching me to enjoy more quiet moments. It’s pretty magickal to notice the synchronicities and energy that seem to be speaking the same language, here to affirm messages and make sure we don’t miss the signs.
So, get your coffee or tea ready as I invite you to slow down with me for a minute and go over what moved through the week.
A Little Magick From My Life
Lately, I’ve been falling in love with silence.
Normally, music is a constant companion for me. I put it on first thing in the morning while making coffee, and then it follows me into the shower, on the way to work, at work, and when I get back home. But this week, I’ve been embracing the sweet luxury of quiet instead. And in that stillness — in that presence — I’ve been able to tap into a realm I’ve felt a little distant from lately.
I’m hearing my inner voice and Spirit more strongly. I’m picking up on psychic messages more intentionally, listening to the small sounds of nature I usually miss, and tuning in to what sounds like the hum of the universe. Mostly, it’s a reminder to come back to the sound of my breath, because in the silence, I ask myself, “Am I even breathing?” Like, actually breathing properly.
It’s a small shift, but it’s changed the texture of my days. Sometimes the most magickal thing you can do is to simply remove noise and allow yourself to bathe in the silence. We live in such a stimulating and busy world, filled with distractions and commotion; it feels like a gift to invite myself to sit in such stillness and connect with what’s beyond the noise.
If you’ve been feeling overstimulated lately, maybe this is your sign to try a little silence too. Take five minutes to sit quietly and notice what you can hear.
Messages From The Mat
This week on the mat, we explored Kula — community, tribe, chosen family.
We talked about showing up as support for the people around us, not just by being present, but by being intentional about how we hold space for others. And just as importantly, we turned that intention inward: noticing how our own community, our own chosen family, shows up to support us.
It felt like the right theme to discuss in class after pulling the 3 of Cups for the “present” time in my Tea & Tarot reading. The card was asking us to lean into exactly that: community, connection, and celebration.
Consider this a gentle nudge to acknowledge who your Kula is right now. How are you showing up for them? And how are they showing up for you?
Tea & Tarot: This Week’s Reading
This week, I pulled the 3 of Wands in the past, the 3 of Cups in the present, and the 2 of Swords in the future. You can watch the reading here.
The 3 of Wands tells me something was set into motion a while back. Maybe you already know what it is, or maybe it’s still revealing itself. Either way, seeds were planted, and they’re not finished growing yet.
Right now, the 3 of Cups is asking you to lean into connection and community; the people who feel like chosen family, the ones who show up to support you. This is a moment to celebrate your connections and let yourself be held by your tribe. You are not alone.
All of that matters because the 2 of Swords is waiting in the future. A decision point is coming; a moment where you’ll need to choose between two paths. The reading is telling you something important though: you won’t have to make that choice alone. The community you’re leaning into now is exactly what will support you when that crossroads arrives. So, bounce ideas off them and vent what’s on your mind or your heart. Then allow yourself to turn inward to find the answer.
My suggestion: don’t rush the decision when it comes. Just be aware of it and let the shift happen naturally.
Cosmic Connection
On July 29th, we had a Full Moon in Aquarius, with the Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo lighting the sky alongside it. And this wasn’t the only illumination. Just days before, on July 26th, the lunar nodes shifted onto the Aquarius-Leo axis for the first time in about 19 years, Saturn stationed retrograde in Aries, and the Lion’s Gate portal opened. All of this congregating in Leo made for a particularly amplified stretch of days. Phew.
This full moon carried a message of letting go; releasing an old reality, old partnerships or dynamics that no longer fit who you’re becoming. It’s about breaking free from who you think you should be, or what you think you should be doing, and making space for who you truly are.
After sitting with this energy and channelling messages, two cards confirmed it all. The Death & Rebirth card confirmed this time as a transformation. And the “Breaking Free” fairy oracle card — which was screaming to be pulled, although I didn’t even have a chance to pull it, because it cut itself out of the deck — affirmed a release is necessary. Both are pointing to the same truth: this moon is asking us to shine a light on what’s not working, especially in our partnerships, and how we’re showing up in our own lives, so something new can be born in its place.
The beautiful part? Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo is right there to support the leap. This is a green light moment — expansive, confident, courageous. If there’s an opportunity in front of you, or something you’ve been building, now is the time to go for it.
True to Aquarius, and adding to our weekly theme, this moon is also about community; your networks, the connections you have, maybe even people you’re meeting online who feel aligned with where you’re headed. With the nodes shifting onto this axis for the first time in nearly two decades, this isn’t just a one-night moon; it’s the opening act of a much longer chapter about who we build our lives alongside.
If your current reality doesn’t feel like it fits anymore, that’s okay. We’re breaking away from what we’ve outgrown, and moving toward what feels more aligned. Listen to your intuition. Follow your heart. ♥︎
Grounded Goodness
This week’s wellness tip is beautifully simple: go outside and put your bare feet on the earth!
This is called “grounding” or “earthing” and comes from the idea that walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil allows your body to absorb free electrons from Mother Earth.
And there’s science behind it, as some studies suggest that grounding can improve sleep, reduce inflammation, normalize stress levels, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the rest and repair intelligence within us.
I posted a photo and note about this on Instagram this week. If you read it but didn’t try it, perhaps this is your reminder to actually do it. :)
Take five minutes today. Bare feet, real ground, no phone, and let the earth nurture you for a moment.
“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
- Rumi
With love.
