Energy Update & New Moon in Pisces
What are we, if not dreamers?
It’s been a few days since the New Moon, and I’m finally settling back into my office after two vacations, and some time off, to get right back into these energy updates.
It’s funny, or at least I find it funny, how in tune I am with the energy of the cosmos even when I’m not actively following what’s going on. As soon as I jump back in and read about what has been happening, I’m like, “Oh yeah, that’s everything I’ve been feeling”. It shouldn’t surprise me anymore but it always does, and it always reminds me that everything happens for a reason.
Dreamy Inspiration - New Moon in Pisces
On March 10th, at 3:00am MST, we experienced a New Moon in Pisces. This was the last New Moon of the astrological year and it will inspire us to dream big and imagine the world we want to live in.
You may feel your imagination flowing with ideas and visions of your future and the life you want to live. These visions might encourage you to take a leap of faith to follow your dreams and create the reality that you picture, rather than leaving it as just a fantasy.
Be a dreamer.
Some people might not understand the dreams you have and the blind faith that will carry you there, but you need to follow your heart and your intuition. It’s your life, and nobody can dream it but you. Go for what you want and what feels right. Trust your intuition.
This New Moon energy is great for starting new projects that require your imagination or visualization. What have you been feeling inspired to create? Now might be the time to do it!
Pisces also rules illusions. So be aware of what people are saying to you and what you’re telling yourself. Tap into your intuition for guidance on what feels true or not, listening to yourself and not what other people are saying to influence your decisions.
It’s a great time to set intentions on how you can take action towards your personal goals and dreams and make them your reality. Even if it seems out of this world, anything is possible if you believe it to be.
The Moon is also travelling away from Saturn and towards Neptune, leaving harder work and limitations behind to embrace new goals and inspiration. Our responsibilites are still in mind but we have more faith in what we can accomplish and experience in life.
It Is What It Is - Sun in Pisces
The Sun is still in Pisces until March 19th, when we hit the new astrological year. This energy is more feeling rather than doing, as we’re in that imaginative, day dreaming, flowy state. You might find yourself saying, “It is what it is”, more often than not, as I have found myself saying many times during this transit. It’s much easier to let things go and believe that they’ll work out the way they’re meant to.
Don’t be surprised if you’ve been feeling more meditative and contemplative (like I sure have) about life and what you want. This is Pisces energy and sometimes it’s best to take a break to reflect on what you want to create than keep moving forward in something you’re unsure of. It’s okay to hit the “pause” button sometimes to gain clarity.

Assertive Communication - Mercury in Aries
With Mercury in Aries starting March 9th, we are thinking quickly and are inspired to take immediate action. Decisions are made much faster than in Pisces, where we could have been going back and forth in our mind, feeling a little undecisive. We can think and communicate much more directly now and feel confident in our choices.
Communication could be very bold and blunt, so remember to keep the compassion when you’re talking to others. If you feel like you’re getting impatient, reactive, or defensive (the lower vibrations of this transit), do some activity that can ground you and slow you down to balance out those energies.
Fantasy or Future - Venus in Pisces
Venus entered Pisces on March 11th, bringing that dreamy and idealistic energy into our relationships, love life, and finances. We could also feel more compassionate and empathetic towards people in general.
When it comes to our love life, we should be careful not to fall into illusions that look or sound good but that have no substance to them. Actions speak louder than words, and with Venus in Pisces, we might believe the dreamy things that someone says to us, visualizing a relationship or situation that is not bound to come true because of their true intentions.
On the other hand, it might be a good time to imagine the love life or relationships that you want and start manifesting them into your reality. What kind of romantic partner do you want in life? What does that look, feel, and sound like when you imagine it? The same can be said for business partners and who you want to work with.
Our finances could improve if we connect with the side of us that wants to be of service and help others. This is especially true for those who feel drawn to healing, spiritual, or creative work. It could be a good time to imagine how you want to make money and feel fulfilled at the same time.
Intellectual Decisions - Mars in Aquarius
We could feel the need to resolve challenges and problems in our life from a detached and intellectual point of view. A bigger picture. Decisions and actions could come across cold and blunt but there’s a reason for it. People cannot force us into making choices at this time; we will want to distance ourselves and make the decision on our own.
Aquarius energy is about organizations and teamwork, so if you’re in a group environment, you might feel ambitious to start things on your own but you have everyone in mind while you do it. You might be perceived as rebellious at times in your endeavours. This will only shake things up for the better as you innovate and create new ways of doing things.
Aquarius is also about humanity, so you might be thinking about taking strong action in things that could better humanity and the world we live in. You could feel the need to fight for freedom or positive change and you’ll likely have lots of energy while you do it!
It’s the ending…
We’re almost in the astrological new year! I can feel the excitement and positive energy from everyone as we get closer and closer. People are excited for this year and can feel the success, prosperity, and wonderful change that is coming. I’m feeling that a lot of people are letting go of the past and embracing 2024 with open arms and the feeling that “this is the year” for huge transformation.
