Fairy Tales
Weekly Wellness Newsletter
The theme this week is about fairy tales. When I was a little girl, my Dad read many books to me and my younger sister, and I did a lot of reading on my own. Some of those books were fairy tales, and I always found myself believing that there must be a realm somewhere, maybe in another dimension, that was similar to the worlds described in the fairy tales. A world with more vibrant colours, rainbows, and pots of gold. With magical creatures such as fairies, gnomes, unicorns, and dragons.
My passion and love for fairy tales didn’t really go away as I grew older. I kept on believing that pieces of these mystical stories were real somewhere or in some-time. That there must be some truth to these fairy tale stories.
And now that I have communicated with and seen fairies myself, heard true stories about gnomes and dragons, witnessed nature getting more vibrant, and experienced so much magic in this world, I believe we are dissolving the veil and merging with the mystical. We are raising the frequencies within ourselves and the world to match theirs just like Once Upon A Time…
Question to ponder…
What is your favourite fairy tale story?
Imagine. At bedtime, just before falling asleep - when you’re easing your way into a theta brainwave state - imagine something that you want to happen in your life. Create a story in your mind and play it out as if it’s happening now. The brain does not know the difference between our physical reality and our imagination, so you can use this to your advantage to create scenarios in your mind that you want to happen in “real life”.
Really believe it and enjoy the show. Pretend it’s real! This is a self-hypnosis technique that you could use every night until your dreams come true. I’ve done it many times myself throughout my life. The secret ingredients are imagination, visualization, and belief.
Don’t let go of your inner child. We’re all conditioned to worry or stress about growing up and being so serious about life that we tend to diminish the playful, curious, and creative elements of ourselves in the process. What did you enjoy doing as a kid? When was the last time you did that? Maybe it’s time to reflect on what you were passionate about back then and bring those activities into your present life.
It’s important to stay youthful and tap into the playful and imaginative nature you had (or maybe didn’t have the chance to have) when you were young. And nowadays, you hear so many people talking about the “inner child” and all the traumas and “negative” programming that we carry into our adult life, but it’s important to bring forth the good and happy moments from childhood too. Remember what you loved and enjoyed doing on a soul level.
When I was just a little girl, my aunt was a big influence in my life. She did energy work on me (like reiki), would massage my feet, loved nature, and had such a calming and caring aura. She also loved fairies, and I think this is how I became in touch with them too.
She played a game with us called “poof”. She would pretend to have a magical wand and say “poof” to one of us, turning us into whatever she could think of at that moment. Like, “poof you’re a pencil”, and we would have to pretend to be a pencil! In this scenario, the other one of us was a pencil sharpener…haha! Imagine that.
Not only was this a fun kid’s game, it kept our imagination and creativity alive. I believe it had a huge influence on my sister’s and my imagination as we grew older, as well as the consistent creative and playful nature from Mum and Dad. We were blessed when it came to imagination in the home, that’s for sure!
New Opportunity.
As a collective reading, I’m seeing this as a new opportunity to live life. I truly believe that the future we are currently creating is going to be one of fairy tales and magic. More vibrant colours, spiritual beings, and pots of gold. It will be one of instant manifestation and filled with the energy of love, kindness, and compassion.
It might take some time to get there completely, but that is where we’re headed and we’re creating it day by day. So, for now, take the opportunity to become aware of all the little magical moments in your life and grow your belief in what’s to come.
At this time on earth, more than ever before, we have the space to dream big and live the life we have always imagined. We have so much spiritual and cosmic energy guiding us and supporting us right now. Follow what you’re called to and want to be doing. If you’ve been wanting to make a change in your life, from business to relationships to moving country, whatever it is, watch for the opportunities and jump on them.
The Universe is aligining us with our higher timelines right now but that trajectory depends on the choices we make in the present moment. Don’t let fear of the unknown hold you back from doing something new and exciting! Believe in your power of imagination and start creating your fairy tale.
Namaste.
